Area Sales Manager – Saudi Arabia (m/f/d)

Location: Middle East and Africa (MEA)

The role of Area Sales Manager focuses on developing the Richter business by promoting Richter products, adding business in Saudi Arabia thru End users, Distributors/Resellers network and OEM direct channels development, accordingly to 80/20 principles. The Area Sales Manager reports to Regional Sales Manager MEA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for sales of Richter product portfolio and developing the Richter business in Saudi Arabia
  • Owns the strategic planning for this region, the sales budget planning and the sales and profit target achievement for the territory in line with the Company target
  • Owns the relation to all customers or potential customers, overserve our top customer
  • Understand customer needs and application requirements, quantify new business\ application\ customer\ product opportunities
  • Identification and follow-up of sales opportunities and all related sales activities in line with 80/20 principles
  • Execute Value Selling methodology to promote Richter’s value proposition
  • Assists service and quality department in the component handling of claims
  • Market monitoring with regards to new technological developments, competitive activities as well as changes in customer behaviour for the derivation of new strategies and targets
  • Lives „customer obsession“
  • Be A-player in the sales organization

 

Proven success in the following job competences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Over 8 years working experience in Sales function preferred on pumps and valves, Saudi Arabia region is an advantage
  • Customer orientation of overserving our key customers, value selling
  • Ability on working by right solution to solve customer’s problem
  • Results driven with high self-motivated and engagement to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, fast learning, be (pro-)active and takes initiative
  • Teamwork player with good relation management
  • Understand 80/20 rule and be able to implement the rule into evaluating market and customer opportunities
  • Presentation and negotiation skills and adaptability
  • Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing of English
  • Good knowledge on ERP systems
  • Willingness to travel
